How did I grow from a couch potato to a triathlete?  I learned that when I fuel my body correctly, it works exactly as it’s supposed to. Now I know, and I’d love to share that information with you!

Lifestyle Guidance

My own journey began with changing my nutrition and has led to fantastic results; going from a typical couch potato to a triathlete.  This enables me to bring a high level of empathy, respect, and understanding.  I know where you are coming from, because I was there!

My Past

I used to be a couch potato who literally took naps every day.  My kids remember that I was always either reading or napping after school - instead of playing with them.  Not happy about that!! I was overweight, had high cholesterol, and a sluggish metabolism.  I couldn’t run a quarter of a mile without wheezing, and when I tried to do physical activity my body aches would scream at me.  I couldn’t keep up with family activities, and had absolutely no confidence in my ability to even attempt participating in any sport

Wellness Experience

I have experienced an amazing life change and can coach you on all I have learned during the process. My client success stories reflect my ability to, time after time, help clients improve  their health and achieve a higher level of life satisfaction.

My Journey

Since April, 2016 I have lost weight and I feel so much better in my body (no more body aches).  By balancing my nutrition, I found the energy that I was lacking, enabling me to move my body and improve my metabolism.  I now enjoy exercise and am able to keep up with my family.  This picture is from June, 2016.  Keeping up with my kids for the first time felt SO good!

My Life Today

My life today is vastly different than it used to be.  I am constantly setting goals for myself, and reaching to do more than I ever thought possible.  I have attained and continue to maintain my ideal weight, my cholesterol has come down, and I enjoy training almost daily for marathons and triathlons.  I am able to keep up with my family (including my marathon-running husband).  Most important for me, I discovered that I love the empowering feeling of a challenging workout, and the invigorating excitement of meeting a goal.

My Goals For YOU

I would love to help you discover your inner athlete - this could be anything from starting to walk around the block a few times per week, to coming along with me and competing in a half marathon, marathon, or a triathlon.  I’d love to pass on to you the joy of feeling comfortable in your body; of feeling ENERGY every day, and of not being nervous about what your doctor has to say about your blood work.  The best feeling is discovering what you can do, and that you really can PARTICIPATE in your life!
